Silos Córdoba to Participate in the Trade Mission to Nigeria Organized by Agragex and ICEX

At Silos Córdoba, we continue strengthening our international presence by exploring new opportunities in strategic agricultural markets. As part of this commitment, we will participate in the Trade Mission to Nigeria organized by AGRAGEX, the Spanish Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers and Exporters, with the support of ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, taking place from June 8 to 12, 2026.

Nigeria has established itself as one of the most promising agricultural markets in Sub-Saharan Africa. With a population exceeding 200 million people and a growing need to modernize its agro-industrial sector, the country is promoting significant investments aimed at improving agricultural productivity, food security and post-harvest infrastructure.

Both the public and private sectors are investing in the development of strategic crops such as maize, rice and cassava, while seeking to reduce post-harvest losses and increase the efficiency of the entire agricultural supply chain. In this context, grain storage and handling infrastructure plays a key role in preserving harvest quality, improving farm profitability and contributing to greater food security.

The mission, coordinated by the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Lagos, will include a programme of meetings and visits with companies and professionals from the Nigerian agricultural sector, providing Spanish businesses with an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand insight into market trends and explore new business opportunities.

For Silos Córdoba, this mission represents an opportunity to strengthen business relationships, establish new contacts and continue showcasing our expertise in grain storage and handling solutions in a region with enormous growth potential.

Africa remains a strategic region within our international expansion plans, and initiatives such as this allow us to better understand the needs of each market, identify new opportunities for collaboration and contribute to the development of more efficient and sustainable agricultural value chains.

From June 8 to 12, we will be in Nigeria, working to build new partnerships and develop solutions that contribute to the future of agriculture.
